Frances D. Dean

 Dean, Frances D. Keene, 91, born to James Lloyd and Edna Earlene Keene, passed away Monday, March 6, 2024.

Mrs. Frances was a native of Newton County. She was a resident of Lucedale, MS for several years along with her dear friend and companion, Bill James.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Dean; sons, Richard Leon Dean and Steve Dean; brothers, Ray Keene, Tommy Keene, and James Keene; sister, Lorene Keene Furby; nephews, Gary Paul Keene, Tony Furby, Tommy “Scooter” Furby; great nephew, Justin Eiland; daughter- in- law, Vickie Dean (Leonard); and her dear friend and companion, Bill James.

She is survived by son, Leonard Dean; sister; Beverly Keene Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Union of 205 North Street, Union MS, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.  

Graveside services will be at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery of Little Rock, MS at 2:30pm with Pastor Andrew Black of Hopewell officiating.
