Felton Amos Scott Jr.

A memorial visitation for Felton Amos Scott Jr. will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m..

Mr. Scott, 71, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his residence.

Felton was a dedicated employee of Peavey Electronics for 24 years. After retiring from Peavey, he drove a truck for 12 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his youth and loved to hunt and fish when he could. He was a hardworking man with a great sense of humor, but he will be remembered most for being a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his son, Jason Scott (Laurie); grandchildren, Ashley McDonald (Tyler), Joseph Garrett (Madi), Elijah Brooks Clark, and Bailey Emmeryson; great grandchildren, Kinsley and Elijah McDonald, and Caden Garrett; sisters, Debbie Sturm (Mitch) and Joyce George (Jimmy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felton Amos Scott Sr. and Minnie Louise Chatham Scott; and mother of his son, Ruby Carol Scott.
