Evie Joyce Eaves

Services for Mrs. Evie Joyce Eaves will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Webb and Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown. Interment will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Eaves, 82, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at her residence.

Joyce will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, James Eaves Jr. and Teresa Watkins (Ricky); grandchildren, Melissa Williams (Jeremy), Josh Silva, Shana Watkins, and Eric Watkins (Danielle); as well as eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, James Eaves; parents, Vaughn and Evelyn Bolton; and three siblings.

Pallbearers will include Michael Watkins, Donald Watkins, Jeremy Williams, Eric Watkins, Chandler Watkins, and Brennan Harrell.

The family will receive visitors an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
