Evelyn Ann Taylor

A memorial service for Evelyn Ann Taylor will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, 4:00 p.m., at New Harvest Church.

Mrs. Taylor, 82, of Pachuta, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at Baptist Anderson Hospital.

Evelyn was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. However, the thing that brought her the most joy was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Taylor; children, Susan Taylor Finnegan (Patrick “Nick”) and Tammie Reid (Walter); grandchildren, James Robert Finnegan (Angela), Jessica Smith (Benjamin), Katelyn Reid, Amber Finnegan (Annie), and Nicholas Finnegan (Katie); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Billy Hollis (Shirley); sisters, Marilyn Chambless (Irving) and Glenda Wood (Bill); and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roby Martin and Abby Ulmer Hunter Hollis; and great grandson, Evan Benjamin Smith.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the family.
