Eula Clarise Ivy, 78, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Clarise was a long-time member of Rolling Creek Baptist Church, where she served in the Nursery for many years. She was a Homemaker and even kept the neighborhood kids after school. She was a strong, loving woman and was not afraid of hard work. She drove over the road with her husband, Robert, for many years. She was also a Brownie Leader, bus driver, and custodian at Clarkdale School. She was a loving mother but didn’t hesitate to pick a switch when it was called for. She was a great cook and no meal was complete unless there were biscuits or cornbread on the table. She could make some of the best Chicken and Dumplings, peas, and homemade biscuits.
She loved and cared for her whole family, from her children to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her focus in life was always on her family. This love came from the everlasting love she shared with her soulmate Robert. They would always walk hand in hand until the day Robert passes away in 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert Ivy; her Parents, Clarence M. and Eula Bell Riley; Siblings, Rosetta Caraway, Gladys Ezell, Mabel Riley, Peggy Eastman Little, William “Bubbie” Riley; and Great-Grandson, James Scott Dahr.
