Eugene "Butch" Boyd Jr.

Eugene “Butch” Ulmer Boyd, Jr. age 72, from Meridian, MS, passed away July 9, 2023 at Regency Hospital. Butch worked as a locomotive engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad and loved every minute of it.

Survivors are his beloved son, Joseph Eugene Boyd, his living brothers Bobby Ray Boyd and Paul Randall Boyd.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Bertha Louise Boyd, father Eugene Ulmer Boyd, Sr, and brothers Michael Wayne Boyd and David Vincent Boyd.

A Visitation will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home Downtown in Meridian on July 12, 2023. The Funeral Service will follow at the same location, beginning at 1:00 PM.
