Edna Louise Stevens was born to Henry and Hattie Dooley on September 28th, 1920. Louise lived a long fullilling life, passing away at the age of 105, surrounded by her loving family on August 17th, 2026.
Louise enjoyed life as well as her family. She dedicated her long life to raising her devoted children. She was a well-known cook to her family and will always be remembered for her Banana Pudding and Blackberry Cobbler. She was also an avid Fisherwoman and would even cook and eat the fish she would catch
Louise made sure to always keep her home and order. She would make her bed each and every morning. However, before returning to her adored home, she wanted to always get a milkshake.
Louise treasured flowers; there wasn’t one plant or flower she didn’t adore. Among her many favorite flowers and plants were roses and Princess Feathers.
Louise enjoyed singing, two of her favorites to sing were "Sugar in the Morning” and “This World is Not My Home.” She would always sing these songs for her family when they would visit her.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hattie Dooley, her loving husband, Roger Stevens, her son Ben Ridinger, her daughter Bobbie Dunn, her sons Leonard Stevens, Jimmy Stevens and Kenneth Stevens.
Louise is survived by Edna Stanley (Bobby), Jenny Watkins (Earl), Darlene Smith, and Sandra Boler (Al); she is also survived by a large family legacy of over 5 generations of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many other special relatives.
Services for Louise will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at Rock Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, at 10:00 AM. Bro. Chris Harrison will be officiating
Pallbearers will be Jeff Stanley, Michael Watkins, Ricky Stevens, Sammie Stevens, Tristan Smith, and Dewayne Stevens. Honorary pallbearer will be, Rell Smith
