Debbie Stuart

Services for Debbie Ann Thornton Stuart will be Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Union Church on Firetower Road in Dekalb, MS. Interment will follow in the Union Church Cemetery. Rev. Lee Whitt will be officiating. Mrs. Stuart, 59, died January 29, 2022, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home – Dekalb has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Debbie loved anything to do with crafting. She was also an animal lover, constantly rescuing stray animals. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and just being in the outdoors. She was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church.

Debbie is survived by her husband of almost 29 years, Edward P. Stuart Jr.; her two daughters Michelle Fleming and Carla North, two grandchildren J.D. Stuart and London Blalock, an Aunt Annie Hunter, of Macon, MS, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and her two fur babies Rocky and Tramp.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Carlene Thornton and two sons-in-law Chip Fleming and Shawn North.
