Cynthia "Cindy" Gail Ward

A memorial service for Cynthia “Cindy” Gail Ward will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Hutchinson officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the church. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Ms. Ward, 69, of Meridian, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at Baptist Anderson’s Regional Medical Center.

Cindy was a dedicated waitress for over 30 years at Waffle House and adored her job and her customers. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Wayne “L.W.” Sheffield, Stephiane Hayden, and Jamie Franklin; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, June Joiner; and brother, Willie “Bill” T. Entrekin Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie T. Entrekin Sr. and Blanche Thompson; and her son, Albert Thompson, her third born child.
