Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at James F. Webb Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, MS. Bro. Thomas Laird will officiate.
Charles “Charlie” Clyde Riddle, 74, of Meridian, MS passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 16, 2021. He was born on September 9, 1947 in Gravelly, Arkansas.
A veteran, Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years prior to retiring as Chief Petty Officer. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Vickie, of 48 years. He was a loving son, brother, friend, father, and grandfather. Charlie was happiest when spending time with his son and grandsons. They were his world! Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a selfless giver to the church, charities, and those in need.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Riddle; father, Clyde Riddle; mother, Nell Riddle; brother, Bud Riddle, and sisters, Betty Radvillas, Elsie Hunt, and Gracie Jacks
Survivors include his son, Caleb Riddle (Baleigh); grandsons, Collin and Campbell Riddle; sister-in-law, Brenda Moody (Bob); brother, Harry “Leck” Riddle (Cemantha); sisters, Ruth Ann Sandidge (Kent), Mary Ann Babb (Wesley), Lillie Laney (Russell), and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Riddle, Bob Moody, David Moody, Austin Moody, Jeff Stuart, and Mark Ferguson.
