Services for Burley A. McCarter will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Carey officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McCarter, 78, of Meridian, died Tuesday, February 7, 2011 at Regency Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy P. McCarter son, Burley E. McCarter and wife Pamela daughter, Melissa G. McCarter special companion, Babe Grace grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Trigg and husband Travis, Nicole Elizabeth McCarter, Sean McCarter, and Colin McCarter great grandchildren, Gavin, Hayden, and Skyla daughterinlaw, Peggy McCarter sister, Rebecca Shavers and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Amanda McCarter son, Michael Downey McCarter and brother, Charles E. McCarter, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday from 58 pm at the funeral home.
