The family of Brenda Joy Landrum Burden is saddened to announce her passing on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 73.

During a treasured period of her life, she was devoted to her family, particularly her mother and father, and her older brothers. She took tremendous pride in being born a Landrum. She shared a special bond with them and found great purpose in being their baby sister. Joy was incredibly proud of her daughter and always described her as the sunshine of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jena Brown Snow (Rex); granddaughter, Sarah Busma (Steven); and great grandson, Briggs; brothers, Don Landrum, Sr. (Nancy), W.L. Landrum, Jr. (Jean), Jerry Landrum (Frances); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Levan and Hazel Landrum; brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Landrum (Anne); granddaughter, Brendal Chandler Snow; and her cherished canine companion, Rowdy, who brought her love, comfort, and companionship throughout the years.

Her family will remember the woman she was in those precious years—the devoted sister and mother, the intelligent woman whose life was made beautiful by the creativity she brought into the world.

Webb and Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service with interment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Meridian Memorial Park.
