Bobby Pearson

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Charles Pearson will be held on Wednesday February 9th at 1PM at Webb and Stephens Funeral Home – North on Hwy 39 North. Pastor Brad Sliger will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Pearson, 73, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, February 5th at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bobby worked for the City of Meridian, Waters International and APAC where he retired after serving 15 years as the shop foreman.

He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a deacon until developing declining health conditions.

Mr. Bobby liked auto racing, border collie dog trials and being a mechanic on everything. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his girls. Mr. Bobby always tried to express joy and the love of the Lord to all the people he met.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Diann Pearson; daughters Felisa Cook (Ron) and Melissa Jarvis; brother Jim Pearson (Joy) and sister Kay Bynum along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents James Aubrey Pearson and Roxie Grace Pinson Pearson; brother Gerald Pearson and sisters Bonnie White and Nell Mason.

Pallbearers will be Monty Sellers, Rusty Sellers, Brian Jenkins, Verdell Luke, Jerry Culpepper and Robert Pearson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Sellers, David Sellers, Adam Sellers, Luke Tingle and Will Pearson.

Visitation will be 12pm to 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
