Billy White

There will be a graveside service for Billy Key White beginning at 2 PM Tuesday November the 1st at the Andrew Chapel Church Cemetery. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. White passed away peacefully on October 27th at the Reginald P. White Nursing Center in Meridian.

He was a retired farmer and very talented carpenter.  When he wasn’t working with his father and uncle building homes, churches and repairing some of the stately Victorian homes dotting the city, he was always willing to repair homes owned by the elderly and widowed. He loved animals of all kinds.  He enjoyed raising cattle, pigs, horses and dogs.

Mr. White also served in the U.S. Army stationed in the Republic of South Korea.

Mr. White is survived by his sister Lunell Kinnison as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended families and friends.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his father Paul L. White, Mother Pearl White, a brother Joe L. White and sister Pauline Rainey.
