Billy Jenkins

Billy Gene Jenkins passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Meridian, Mississippi. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service immediately after at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home Downtown.

Billy retired from the Navy in Richmond, Virginia and returned to Mississippi on a regular basis to visit his sister and create mischief with his nephews. He was a chameleon in his interest that also included various lifestyle changes through the years. The one constant joy in his life was his beloved late wife, Joann. If you knew Billy, you also were going to know Joann. They shared many years of laughter and love that was spread to those around them. He will be remembered by a lifetime of conversations and memories shared while he was alive and continued now that he is gone.

He is survived by his nephews: Larry Smith, Gary Smith, Keith Smith, Jeff Smith and niece, Beth Porter.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joann Jenkins and parents.
