Billie Doolittle

Services for Mrs. Billie L. Doolittle will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Meridian with Rev. Rhett G. Payne III officiating. Interment will be in Newton Masonic Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Doolittle, 79, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital. She was a member of Meridan First Presbyterian Church and a retired registerd nurse.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Doolittle of Meridan, Ms; her son, Brad Doolittle and his wife Lisa of Dallas, TX; Brother, Jimmy Leard and his wife Betty of Carolton, AL and Junior Leard and his wife Faye of Oneonta, AL; Sister, Libby West and her husband Bob of Waynesboro, MS and Joy Stinson and her husband Buddy of Clara, Ms. She is also survived by her grand-daughters, Molly Skipper, Evan Arbazia and her husband David, Daryn Ray, and Jon Catherine Doolittle; and one great grand-daughter, Camryn Arbazia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Harry B. Doolittle; her parents William Howard and Lucille Leard.

Pallbeareers are Luca Romano, Molly Skipper, Ray Leard, and Hubert Tweedy. BR
