Barry Merl Smith

     Barry Merl Smith, 62, of Collinsville, Mississippi, passed away the afternoon of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Hospital in Meridian.

     Barry was born to Doyle and Martha (Johnson) Smith on September 18, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois. He loved fishing and playing golf. One of his greatest pleasures was helping coach his grandson’s baseball team. All who knew and loved him will miss him greatly. 

     He is survived by his daughter, Sidney Smith and his four grandchildren, Aidan Smith, Scarlett Redmond, Gage Redmond, and one sweet angel on the way.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lisa Smith.

     A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
