Annette Hayes

Graveside services for Annette B. Hayes, 71, will be Friday, June 4, 2021, at 11:00, at Pine Forest Cemetery in Collinsville. Dr. Ronald Kitchens will be officiating. Mrs. Hayes passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hayes loved working in her yard and planting flowers. She loved playing with her great grandchild Houston and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the latest great grandchild Hawkins Anne. She also loved watching Westerns on television, especially Gunsmoke, which she could recite most of the lines from memory.

She is survived by her daughter Cristy Seal and her son Craig Proaps (Shelby); grandchildren Hawk Seal (Megan) and Carter Proaps; great grandchild Houston Seal and another one on the way, Hawkins Anne Seal; two brothers Billy Ammons (Marilyn) and Clifford Ammons (Pat), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norma and John Ammons, and her husband of over 44 years Roy E. Hayes.

Pallbearers will be Charles Hayes, Britt Pevey, Michael R. Johnston, Michael Johnston, Bubba Graham and Shone Farmer.
